Raising Our Litters

At Wiskota Eurasiers, we pride ourselves in how our puppies are raised. Each litter is born in the home. One bedroom is dedicated as the puppy nursery for the first 3-4 weeks of life. Around 4 weeks old the puppies graduate to a bigger puppy area in our living room. Once moved to the living room the puppies are in the middle of all of our day to day happenings, getting exposed to all of our household sounds, seeing our cat, Dunkin, and the other dogs. They see and interact with visitors that come into our home. We are careful to control the experiences our puppies have, trying to always keep their experiences positive. We give them a variety of play toys and obstacles and begin potty training. The puppy area eventually becomes our entire living room and kitchen. We create a safe area for the puppies to play in our backyard and in the garage if the weather is not good. We follow the Puppy Culture procedures and we get better with each litter.
